Gastrointestinal pathology focuses on the examination of tissue specimens from the digestive tract and associated organs, including the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon, liver, pancreas, and biliary system. Our services encompass the diagnosis of both benign and malignant conditions, such as inflammatory bowel disease, infections, polyps, and GI cancers.

Through detailed gross and microscopic analysis, we assess key diagnostic features, including tissue architecture, inflammation, dysplasia, and tumor characteristics such as type, grade, and stage. We utilize ancillary techniques such as immunohistochemistry and, when appropriate, molecular testing to enhance diagnostic accuracy and provide clinically relevant insights.
